Beef tallow’s fatty acids are similar to the oils your skin makes, so it soaks in instead of sitting on top. It carries vitamins A, D, E and K, and it never feels like a greasy film.
Three ingredients. No water.
Tallow, organic shea butter and organic olive oil, plus a drop of essential oil in the scented ones. A balm with no water needs no preservatives, so nothing is hiding in the jar.

Made by a ranching family, not a factory
Texas Tallow Products is the tallow side of a five-generation family ranch in Springtown, Texas. We raise the cattle, render the tallow and fill every jar ourselves, in small batches.
Before you order
Does it smell like beef?
No. Our tallow is rendered clean and the unscented balm smells like nothing at all. The scented ones smell like their essential oil, and that’s it.
Is it greasy?
It’s a rich balm, so use a pea-sized amount and warm it between your fingers first. It melts in and soaks in without leaving a slick film.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. Lots of customers use it on their face at night. Use a thin layer and keep it out of your eyes. If your skin is reactive, the Natural Unscented balm has no essential oils.
Which scent should I pick?
If you’re not sure, Warm Vanilla is the easy everyday one and Natural Unscented is the plain one. Lavender is the evening balm, Prairie Peppermint is cooling, and Frankincense is warm and earthy. The base is the same in all five.
How long does a jar last?
A pea-sized amount covers a lot of skin, so most people get months from one 4 oz jar. Used on hands, heels and face every day, expect a couple of months.
My jar arrived soft. Is it ruined?
No. Tallow can soften in summer heat on the way from Texas. Pop it in the fridge for an hour and it sets back up. If anything is off, message us and we’ll replace it.
