Our Magnesium Tallow Lotion combines a nourishing tallow base with magnesium chloride flakes, a form of magnesium that can be absorbed transdermally (through the skin). Many people are chronically low in magnesium, a mineral involved in over 300 biochemical reactions including muscle relaxation, sleep regulation, and nerve function. Applying it topically is one way to support magnesium levels without pills or powders.

The tallow base (organic olive oil, organic sunflower oil, arrowroot, and vitamin E) provides deep hydration alongside the magnesium. The large jar doesn't work. The sample jar I got works wonderful. Maybe there's less magnesium in the larger jar?

At first, I was a little disappointed when they switched from the pump bottle to a glass jar, but I found an easy fix. I bought a pump bottle at my local Daiso, peeled the label off the glass jar, and put it right onto the new bottle. It works perfectly! 🙌

I tried Texas Tallow for the first time, for my aging, thinning, dry condition skin . I'm 70 and have tried just about everything on the market nothing worked and if appeared to work required reapplication once or twice a day and was usually so heavy my skin couldn't breathe. I'm here to tell you Texas Tallow with magnesium is the lightest most hydrating and soothing product I have ever tried, it works wonderfully! Tallow isn't greasy it's lightweight and it doesn't take much to slather your entire body leaving you feeling totally hydrated soothed comfortable skin for days! It even plumps those fine lines you get on your declate', and face too! Your skin absorbs it quickly and retains a healthy looking skin glow, it doesn't melt off with hot temperatures and provides a nice layer to protect in cold temperatures. I strongly recommend using Texas Tallow for your entire body after a shower you will love how your skin feels and looks. It's great to feel comfortable in my own skin, again!
Works great, feels amazing. Not sticky at all which is why im on my 2nd one. Plus I absolutely love that it comes in a jar now instead of the pump bottle. I had to cut the bottle open just to scoop out the bottom lol but this product & the tallow with frankincense has been amazing on my skin. I made several purchases for me & my mom. The best lotion ever. I have the magnesium tallow and literally use it everywhere, body, face and even a little in my hair, which had been very thin due to medications, now it's growing again, thicker and so so soft. That's my experience, it might be different for other ppl though. Anyway I love this lotion, and I'll always get more ☺️☺️🥰🥰
