Beef tallow is close to the oils your skin already makes, so it absorbs instead of sitting on top. We render it ourselves from cattle raised on our family ranch in Springtown, Texas.

Texas Tallow Products is the tallow side of a five-generation family ranch in Springtown, Texas. We raise the cattle, render the tallow and fill every jar ourselves, in small batches.
Before you order
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. It’s made for face and body. Use a pea-size amount on your face and the rest wherever you need it.
Is it heavy or greasy?
No. It’s a light, creamy lotion that absorbs in a minute or two. Arrowroot gives it a soft, dry-touch finish, so it sits fine under makeup.
Will it feel too rich for oily skin?
This is our lightest, most balanced formula, made for oily and combination skin. Start with a small amount and build up. As with any new skincare, try a small spot first if your skin is sensitive.
Does it smell like beef?
No. Our tallow is rendered clean. You’ll smell tea tree and lavender, which softens once it’s rubbed in.
My jar arrived soft or separated. Is it ruined?
No. Tallow can soften in heat on the way from Texas. Give it a stir and pop it in the fridge for an hour. If anything is off, message us and we’ll replace it.
