Our Clear Bar Soap with Tea Tree & Lavender goes beyond the standard tallow-olive-coconut base: it includes organic hemp oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, and shea fruit butter — four additional oils chosen for their compatibility with troubled skin. Tea tree essential oil (containing terpinen-4-ol, a documented antimicrobial compound) works alongside calming lavender to cleanse, balance, and soothe.
Castor oil contains ricinoleic acid, which supports antimicrobial cleansing. Jojoba oil is technically a liquid wax that closely resembles the skin's own sebum and is well-documented as non-comedogenic. Shea butter provides extra conditioning. Natural beeswax helps the bar hold its structure despite the higher oil content. This is the bar for people who've given up on commercial acne washes that over-dry and irritate.
Why Tallow Soap
Tallow creates a harder, longer-lasting bar than vegetable oil soaps alone. Its oleic, palmitic, and stearic acid content closely mirrors your skin's natural sebum — so it rinses clean without stripping moisture or disrupting the skin barrier. Most conventional soap relies on palm kernel or coconut oil, which can over-strip. Tallow soap cleanses and conditions at the same time.
