Our Prairie Peppermint Shea Butter Tallow Cream combines a tallow and shea butter base with natural beeswax — making it slightly firmer and more structured than our whipped balms. The beeswax creates a light occlusive layer that locks in moisture on contact with skin, making this format ideal for targeted use on very dry patches, rough elbows and heels, or any area that needs concentrated, stay-put hydration.
Peppermint essential oil contains menthol, which activates TRPM8 cold receptors in the skin to create a genuine cooling sensation without any actual temperature change. The cream format concentrates this effect — more so than a lotion — making it particularly useful for targeted relief on tired legs, sore feet, temples, and tight muscles. The tallow and shea base provides deep, lasting hydration alongside the cooling action. The four-ingredient formula (five with the essential oil) delivers vitamins A, D, E, and K alongside the essential fatty acids in tallow and shea butter.
